Game Introduction:
Marble is an engaging online music game that lets you compose your own beats and rhythms. Using a simple slider interface, you can select instruments such as the high hat, tom drum, and vibra cannons, and choose which beats to play. Each instrument has its own set of measures, allowing you to build complex musical patterns. For example, adding one measure to the high hat and two to the tom drum means the high hat repeats while the tom drum plays both measures before repeating. The vibra cannons feature a piano keyboard for selecting specific notes. With 16th note subdivisions and simple sounds, Marble offers a fun introduction to music creation. It is free to play on Y8 and runs directly in your browser, designed for desktop use with a keyboard or mouse. Full screen mode is available for an immersive experience. How to Play:
To start creating music in Marble, use the slider in the top bar to select which instrument you want to edit. Choose from instruments like high hat, tom drum, or vibra cannons. Once you have selected the beats you want to play, click the 'Add Measure' button to add it to your scene. Remember, each instrument has its own set of measures. When you click 'Add Measure', you are only adding a measure for the currently selected instrument. For instance, if you add 1 measure to the high hat and 2 measures to the tom drum, the high hat measure will repeat while the tom drum plays both measures before repeating. For the vibra cannons, a piano keyboard will appear when selecting beats, allowing you to choose the note for each beat. Currently, only 16th note subdivisions and simple sounds are available, with more features to come. Enjoy experimenting with different combinations to create unique rhythms.
